Automotive fuel tubes, roofing membranes, semiconductor components, and wires must endure extreme operating conditions. From chemical resistance to harsh outdoor exposure, these parts are expected to withstand various forms of aggression while maintaining heat stability and excellent electrical properties.

To meet these demanding requirements, DAIKIN has developed two comprehensive ranges of Fluoropolymers:

• POLYFLON Series: A variety of high-performance PTFE available in fine powder, molding powder, or dispersion for tubes, membranes, and other applications
• NEOFLON Series: A complete array of melt-processable fluoropolymers including FEP, PFA, ETFE, PCTFE, suitable for pipes, sealants, roofing, and more

NEOFLON FEP NP-Series is a melt-moldable fluoropolymer with excellent thermal stability, electrical properties, abrasion resistance, and long-term weatherability. It is widely used for wire insulation, cable jackets, and tubes.

NEOFLON FEP NP-Series offers excellent heat resistance, chemical resistance, and electrical properties comparable to PTFE, designed for compatibility with various melt forming methods:

• Wire coating
• High-speed wire insulation

• Copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and hexafluoropropylene
• Low dielectric constant and low dielectric loss tangent due to low polarity molecular structure, ideal for information technologies and communications
• Strong C-F bond provides heat resistance, chemical inertness, and excellent weatherability
• Excellent flame retardancy (limiting O2 index 95 vol%, UL94V-0)
• Small coefficient of friction for excellent slipperiness
• Low surface energy for superior water and oil repellency, and non-adherence properties

Neoflon AP-221SH is a copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and perfluoroalkyl vinyl ether. It is PFA with its end groups completely fluorinated.
