Automotive fuel tubes, roofing membranes, semiconductor components, and wires must endure extreme operating conditions. These parts are expected to withstand chemical resistance, harsh outdoor exposure, heat stability, and maintain good electrical properties. DAIKIN has developed two comprehensive ranges of Fluoropolymers:

• POLYFLON Series: High-performance PTFE available in fine powder, molding powder, or dispersion for tubes, membranes, etc.
• NEOFLON Series: Complete array of melt-processable fluoropolymers including FEP, PFA, ETFE, PCTFE, suitable for pipes, sealants, roofing, etc.

NEOFLON FEP NP-Series has excellent heat resistance, chemical resistance, and electrical properties comparable to PTFE. Designed for compatibility with various melt forming methods:

• Low dielectric constant and low dielectric loss tangent due to low polarity molecular structure

• Excellent flame retardancy (limiting O2 index 95 vol%, UL94V-0)
• Small coefficient of friction for excellent slipperiness
• Low surface energy for water and oil repellency, nonadherence properties
