Ultramid® PA (PA6, PA66) molding compounds are available unreinforced, reinforced with glass fibers or minerals, and also reinforced with long-glass fibers for special applications. Ultramid® is noted for its high mechanical strength, stiffness and thermal stability. It also offers good toughness at low temperatures, favorable sliding friction behavior, and can be processed without problems.
PA6 Ultramid B3GM35 is a 40% combined glass-fiber and mineral reinforced, pigmented black injection molding PA6 grade. Typical applications include industrial articles requiring medium rigidity and high dimensional stability.
Ultramid® offers versatile material characteristics suitable for applications in automotive construction, electrical engineering and electronics, household technology, industrial connection, photovoltaics, construction and installation, furniture, sanitary industry, and mechanical engineering.
Ultramid® can be processed by all methods known for thermoplastics, with injection molding and extrusion being the main methods. Complex moldings are economically manufactured in large numbers by injection molding, while extrusion is used to produce films, semi-finished products, pipes, profiled parts, sheet and monofilaments.
