Fluoroplastic Types

PFA - 3M™ Dyneon™ PFA has exceptional heat resistance, excellent electrical properties and excellent chemical and weather resistance. Available in both FLEX and ultra high purity (UHP) grades, PFA is the material of choice for semiconductor manufacturing.

FEP - 3M™ Dyneon™ FEP offers exceptional electrical properties, excellent chemical resistance, toughness and durability. It is an essential component in films, linings, tapes, wire insulation and cable jackets in a variety of industries.

ETFE - With a wide service temperature range and outstanding resistance to abrasion and cut-through, 3M™ Dyneon™ ETFE is suited for a number of applications, including wiring, tubes, pipes, and UV resistant films for solar modules and architectural membranes.

THV - Flexible and processable at low temperatures, 3M™ Dyneon™ THV offers exceptional optical clarity and light transmission. It can be bonded to many elastomers and plastics, and is used to make multi-layer hoses, tubes, sheets and films for a variety of markets.

PVDF - Widely used in the chemical processing, semiconductor and wire and cable industries, 3M™ Dyneon™ PVDF offers excellent strength and resistance to aging, flame, permeation, and UV radiation.
