DAIKIN offers two comprehensive ranges of Fluoropolymers:
NEOFLON PFA AP-Series features excellent heat resistance, chemical resistance, and weatherability. It resembles PTFE but can be melt-molded. The high-purity PFA-SH series achieves significant success in semiconductor manufacturing due to low elution of fluoride ions and particles.
PFA Neoflon AP-202 is a copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and perfluoroalkyl vinylether. This perfluoro polymer contains only carbon and fluorine atoms without hydrogen atoms. It offers the same excellent performance as PTFE across wide temperature ranges while providing excellent transparency and mechanical strength at high temperatures. It can be molded using standard thermoplastic resin methods.
Excellent melt flowability makes it suitable for complex injection-molded articles and thin-wire coating (AWG44-52).
