Automotive fuel tubes, roofing membranes, semiconductor components, and wires must endure extreme operating conditions. From chemical resistance to harsh outdoor exposure, these parts withstand various aggressions while ensuring heat stability and excellent electrical properties. DAIKIN has developed two comprehensive ranges of Fluoropolymers:

• POLYFLON Series: High-performance PTFE available in fine powder, molding powder, or dispersion for tubes, membranes, and more
• NEOFLON Series: Complete array of melt-processable fluoropolymers including FEP, PFA, ETFE, PCTFE, suitable for pipes, sealants, roofing, and more

NEOFLON PFA AP-Series offers excellent heat resistance, chemical resistance, and weatherability. It resembles PTFE but can be melt-molded. The high-purity PFA-SH series has achieved significant success in semiconductor manufacturing due to low elution of fluoride ions and particles. Daikin offers general grade, high purity grade, and antistatic grade products.

NEOFLON PFA AP-Series provides excellent heat resistance, chemical resistance, and electrical properties comparable to PTFE, designed for compatibility with various melt forming methods.

• Excellent flame retardancy (limiting O2 index 95 vol%, UL94V-0)

PFA Neoflon AP-201SH pellets feature good melt flowability and can be processed like other thermoplastic resins. Applications include complicated injection molded parts requiring high melt flow to fill, thin wall wire insulation, and similar applications.
