NEOFLON PFA AP-Series offers excellent heat resistance, chemical resistance, and weatherability. It resembles PTFE but can be melt-molded. The high-purity PFA-SH series is particularly successful in semiconductor manufacturing due to low elution of fluoride ions and particles.
PFA Neoflon AP-230 features a molecular structure where a perfluoroalkoxy radical is bonded to the carbon chain, consisting of carbon and fluorine atoms.
This grade demonstrates better mechanical strength at high temperatures than NEOFLON FEP and offers excellent moldability for processing by extrusion, compression, blow, transfer, and injection molding methods.
Due to the high bonding strength of carbon, fluorine, and oxygen atoms, NEOFLON PFA demonstrates outstanding capabilities similar to PTFE across temperatures from -200°C to +260°C, with excellent transparency for melt-flow processing.
Primary Feature: Good melt flowability, making it particularly suitable for injection molding applications.
