DAIKIN Neoflon PFA AC-5500 is a perfluoroalkoxy (PFA) material designed to withstand extreme operating conditions with excellent thermal stability, chemical resistance, and electrical properties.

Fluoropolymers designed to stand the most extreme and unique conditions. Automotive fuel tubes, roofing membranes, semiconductor components, and wires endure extreme operating conditions requiring chemical resistance, harsh outdoor exposure, heat stability, and excellent electrical properties.

DAIKIN offers two comprehensive ranges of Fluoropolymers:

• POLYFLON Series: High-performance PTFE available in fine powder, molding powder, or dispersion for tubes, membranes, etc.
• NEOFLON Series: Melt-processable fluoropolymers including FEP, PFA, ETFE, PCTFE suitable for pipes, sealants, roofing, etc.

A melt-moldable fluoropolymer copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and hexafluoropropylene with excellent properties:

PFA NEOFLON AC-5500 is a copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and perfluoroalkyl vinylether. As a perfluoro polymer consisting of only carbon and fluorine atoms, it offers the same excellent performance as PTFE across a wide temperature range while providing excellent transparency and mechanical strength at high temperatures.
