Dupont FEP TE-9568 Fluoropolymers FEP Virgin Pellet Powder IN STOCK All Color
Product Overview
DuPont™ FEP TE-9568 fluoropolymer resin is a negatively charged, hydrophobic colloid containing approximately 54% (by total weight) of 0.1 to 0.30 µm fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP) particles suspended in water. It also contains approximately 6% (by weight of FEP resin) of a nonionic wetting agent and stabilizer. Color is off-white and nominal pH is 10.0. Viscosity at room temperature is approximately 25 cP.

Product Description
Designed to enhance coatings, melt extrusions, and impregnation, ™ FEP (fluorinated ethylene propylene) resins come in pellet form. They also work with conventional melt-extrusion techniques and injection-, compression-, transfer-, and blow-molding processes.
Processing Characteristics
A high melt strength and drawdown capacity facilitates the use of large dies and drawdown tooling to increase production rates. Using larger length-over-diameter extruder barrels provides enough residence time at high production rates to melt these high-temperature polymers. Reciprocating screw injection-molding machines are most effective. It's recommended that manufacturers use corrosion-resistant metals for any equipment that may contact molten resin.
