A polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) product containing 45% glass fiber reinforced material. This super engineering plastic is recognized for its excellent resistance to heat and chemicals.

DURAFIDE® PPS was launched by Polyplastics as Japan's first production compound, based on the supply of a PPS polymer with linear molecular structure from Kureha Corporation. It maintains superior mechanical strength, heat resistance, chemical resistance and fireproof properties while offering excellent toughness with superior ability to withstand stretching and impacts.

Applications range from peripheral automotive engine parts and electrical components in hybrid and electric vehicles to smartphones and water mixing valves in baths and basins.
