*Santoprene™ thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV)* was created more than 40 years ago out of a simple concept to develop a ready-to-use material that behaves like a rubber but processes like a thermoplastic. A truly revolutionary product, it quickly became the acknowledged industry-standard for TPVs. Compared to materials such as EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) or other thermoset rubbers (TSR), Santoprene TPV offers: * Lower total system costs through manufacturing simplification * Weight reduction through part redesign * In-process recycling during processing and the potential for recycling at the end of life Santoprene TPV is a proven solution for demanding applications in diversified markets such as automotive, building and construction, industrial, consumer products, and healthcare and medical, through: * Total system cost reduction * Excellent long-term performance * Design flexibility * Superb aesthetics

*SANTOPRENE™ 103-50* is a soft, black-colored polyolefin-based thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) grade. It contains a stabilization system for protection against copper and other metal-catalyzed degradation. It is recyclable within the manufacturing stream and shows property to retain in presence of typical dishwasher and washing machine detergents.
